A Most Inconvenient Marriage by Regina Jennings

Good Evening y'all!! We had planned to do our annual Christmas shopping (I go with my dad and my sister goes with my mom to help our parents choose gifts for each other) but unfortunately daddy has been sick and still is so Mom, Meghan, and I decided to go clothes shopping today instead. (Gotta love a 30% off coupon for Kohls! Favorite place ever!) I read this book actually about 2 weeks ago and am just now getting to reviewing it. (I know, you hate me!)

*About the Author*
I’m so happy that I get to research, write, share stories and other fantastic tasks associated with being an author. And I’m happy to share how the whole author-thing happened, too.
Other things I am – a Christ-follower, a wife, a homeschooling mother of four, a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, and a voracious reader.

*Book Description*

Abigail Stuart is tired and she's run out of options. Which is exactly the reason that drove her to marry a complete stranger...a dying soldier no less! When dear Jeremiah died, Abigail set off for the ranch he left her to care for. Not knowing what to expect, except for a sister in ill health and a young woman whose sweetheart went off to war, got married, and never came back, Abigail is more then a little worried about her future. She only knows that the dear soldier she married is never to return...or she thought she knew until he showed up! How can this man be Jeremiah? He's not the man she married...will she discover more then she bargained for?

Jeremiah Calhoun cannot believe this woman! Abigail Stuart is the most stubborn, ill minded woman he has ever met! He expected to be welcomed home in open arms by his mother and sister. Instead he runs into a young woman, beautiful unfortunately, claiming his spot in his family, his farm, and has grieved his former girl to no end. When a crazy idea just may draw them together, Jeremiah begrudgingly agrees. He never expected the way she would make him feel. Will his life ever be the same again? Does she want to leave? Does he want her to?

*What I liked*
This was the most original idea for a "marriage of inconvenience" story that I've ever read. Which made it special and at times jaw dropping for me. Regina has a beautiful way of writing, sweet scenes between Jeremiah and Abigail (Loved his hesitance!), and a wonderful contemporary cover to an otherwise historical novel making it intriguing. A touch of suspense makes it complete!

*What I didn't like*
I can't think of anything I didn't like. I could be wrong but this was a wonderful first impression on Regina's part. In fact, I went to Amazon and found a rare freebie from her that I intend to read soon!

*My Rating*

I give 'A Most Inconvenient Marriage'...

*Why my rating is what it is*

I loved Regina's descriptive images of her characters, writing, cover, and everything about A most inconvenient marriage making it a top 15 in my book...maybe top 10!

 *Where to buy it*

Thanks for reading and come back tomorrow for another great book!

Blessings,
Nicki
