*Summary*
Ava Kingsley can't believe she drove all the way to Detroit to her reunion...to see one person who she now can't see because of unexpected circumstances. Upset and frustrated, the last person Ava expects to try and help her is Seth Walker, the annoying guy from high school who she argued with constantly. When a simple question turns into a year long email correspondence with the unlikely friend, Ava wonders if he's really just a friend. Seth's future fiance keeps him from feeling the same way. Doesn't she? Does she risk opening her heart or does she stay on as a simple email pen pal? When her dream job is taken away from her as well, Ava is heartbroken. Will she find the peace she needs and the love she wants?
Seth Walker is still a little surprised at the email pen pal he sometimes writes three times daily. Evolving from a simple question on Ava Kingsley's life into deep, personal feelings on all subjects, Seth can't believe he's friends with his high school nemesis. In high school, they argued so much they even had a column in the school paper just so they could argue in public and now he's invited her to his little town in Iowa. What he didn't expect is that she would actually come...the day of his grand opening. Especially since the woman he was going to propose to, his girlfriend Maddie of two years, didn't so much as call. When Maddie shows up, Seth is more confused then ever. Another surprise visitor and Seth's head is spinning. Will he make the right decisions? Can one email really change his life?

*I loved*
I love, love, love, LOVED this novella! By far my favorite novella...it didn't seem like a novella which is rare. The story line was different and the characters...oy! Don't get me started on Seth and his nickname for Ava, Ave! The cover is striking with Ava's blonde hair and red sweater. Awesome book and Melissa is into my favorites!

*Not my
favorite*
Normally, with a book I love this much I would say I didn't want it to end. Since this is the start of a fabulous series however, I'll simply direct you to her first book in the series, From the Start coming out in April!
