Revell Review- Gone without a Trace by Patricia Bradley

Good Mid-July morning to you all!! Say what?!?! I cannot even believe we are this late in the summer! I must admit, even though I have been working throughout the summer, I get significantly more depressed the more I think about "back to school". Ugh. At least the books don't stop coming!

*Summary*

The past is repeating itself--and time is running out
It's been more than two years since homicide detective Livy Reynolds's cousin disappeared from Logan Point. Unlike most people in her hometown, Livy has never believed that Robyn left voluntarily. When Dallas private investigator Alex Jennings contacts her concerning a senator's missing granddaughter who was last seen in Logan Point, Livy notices eerie similarities between the two disappearances. With self-doubt plaguing her and an almost instant dislike of the self-assured PI, she's finding this investigation an uphill battle. But with the prospect of finding her cousin on the horizon, she'll have to find a way to work with Alex--before it's too late.

Award-winning author Patricia Bradley keeps you on the edge of your seat with a case--and a relationship--that is anything but certain.

*My Thoughts*

Suspense is not really my thing. I enjoy it every once in a while and  am ADDICTED to every NCIS and NCIS spin off they have but it's not my favorite. I'm more of a Historical/Regency Romance kinda girl. I must say I enjoyed this one, more then I thought I would!

I read Patricia's "A Promise to Protect", the second in the Logan Point series and left not really sure what I thought. This one left no doubt in my mind that I loved it!

Patricia has a way of leaving a trail of bread crumbs that sends readers in circles trying to figure it out. A few simple sentences in a Bradley story can suddenly through yet another suspect in the mix until you don't know who the good guys are! I sometimes think of it as chasing your tail. Just when  thought I nailed the guy in my mind, another guy would send me into a tailspin.

Throughout the story, I loved Alex and Livy's story. Patricia's characters can become very in-depth with more under the surface then you can imagine. I adore a story where the characters have to work through their inner turmoil to be together and this does not disappoint!

If you are worried about being lost in the midst of the series, don't be! I started with the second in the series and was not lost a bit!

Fabulous suspense and I, along with many others, hope this is not the end of the Logan Point series!

*My overall thoughts*

Gone Without a Trace by Patricia Bradley  is the third book in the Logan Point series and even better then the second! Skin chilling suspense, in depth characters, and a fantastic plot make this one a winner!
