Revell Review- The Imposter by Suzanne Woods Fisher

post signatureTwo days in a row! Shocking, I know! Hey, I rhymed! ;) I'll make this quick though...some of us have snowmen to tend to! ;)

*Summary*

A heart once deceived should not be easily fooled again . . .
Katrina Stoltzfus thought she had life and love all figured out: she was going to marry John and live happily ever after. But as her plans crumble before her eyes, she struggles to face an uncertain future. When a widow asks for help starting a new business, Katrina quickly agrees. She needs time to heal her broken heart, to untangle her messy life, to find a purpose.

What she doesn't need is attention from Andy Miller, a farmhand who arrives at the widow's farm just when help is most needed--and who always seems to say the right thing and be in the right place, at the right time. Is Andy for real or too good to be true? She's been deceived once before, and she isn't planning on experiencing it again.

Bestselling author Suzanne Woods Fisher invites you back to Stoney Ridge for a tale of love, uncertainty, and trusting God to write your story.

*My Thoughts*

I am a HUGE Beverly Lewis/Wanda Brunnstetter fan. Always have been, probably always will be. That being said, I have not always loved Suzanne. I think I was just so stuck on my Wanda that I forget there were other authors in the world. Reviewing has absolutely fixed that problem! I've found some fabulous people and writers and I'm blessed beyond measure to discover a passion of mine and help others with it. Suzanne's last 2 (3?) books have shown me her full potential and I can't wait for more! This book was fabulous.

Katrina suffered struggles all of us face at one point or another. Crumbled dreams. Expectations unraveled. Uncertain futures. It's a scary world out there and Suzanne captured those emotions perfectly. She also, however, gave us a perfect example of how trusting God's plan can turn out to be insurmountably better. She showed how even though we all sin, God can take us in our sin and change us into something beautiful, something loved.

It's tough to trust. It's hard to forgive ourselves. Sometimes, it's hard to remember we're loved. This book captured all of our delicate emotions and spun a story so perfectly capturing God's plans and love for us, I couldn't tear my heart away from the pages. Beautiful story, beautifully written. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am for book two!
