*My Thoughts*
I love Melissa Tagg. And Christmas. And relationships with a rocky start are my very, very favorite!
The characters were lovable and relatable. I understood Colin's need for his families' approval, and Ryland's desperate wish to start her own business. Their relationship evolved steadily, but not too fast for a novella.
As usual the town's quirkiness has me falling just a little bit (okay, a lot) in love with it! It reminds me of my own little town of Appomattox and never fails to make me smile.
And then there is the writing. Melissa's fun, hilarious, quirky dialogue has me giggling and grinning through page upon page, only to have me in tears the next! Every word I devoured felt like coming home, and I can't wait to go back.
