Happy JUNE friends! My favorite month of the year...not just because it is my birthday month ;), although it is starting out with a hot BANG here! Phew! I just came off the porch from reading my next novel for review (stay tuned, author's last name *might* be Hunter), and decided I better get this review to you all. It is just unfair to keep all of my thoughts about this delicious new novel to myself!

*My Thoughts*
Action packed, tension filled, romance packed, and heart wrenchingly good, Susan May Warren has penned another showstopper in the suspense world. Following in the footsteps of book one, Heart of a Hero will leave you begging for more!
I think it took me about 6 hours to devour this one. Long into the midnight hours, I found myself flipping page after page, telling myself *just one more chapter*. Susan's books have a tendency to do that to you...you'd think I would learn but nope, I always find myself starting it the second I have some downtime and not stopping until I am finished.
Jake and Aria...sigh. So much to love!! I didn't think anything could be more exciting than climbing mountains during a blizzard with Orion and Jenny, but wow, if anything could do it, it would absolutely be a hurricane and tropical Miami, Florida. Intense and dramatic enough to feel dangerous, with just enough reality to keep you grounded, you never knew what might happen from one paragraph to another.
My favorite part of this book (besides the heart stopping, give me more romance), was absolutely the sense of community Susie created. Each chapter seemed to bring more and more of the little community together from a mother daughter duo to a lost puppy and I found myself rooting for their little survivor team!
Throughout the book we got some book 3 teasers too, and let me say I cannot wait for Ham's story. There is so much goodness yet to come and I can't wait to add "The Price of Valor" to my bookshelf to keep this beautiful book family together!
