Revell Review- Blackberry Beach by Irene Hannon

Happy Wednesday night, all! The local Elementary school, where I work, is in the middle of sols this week. Since I am on standby for tech support while tests are taken, I have ample quiet time for a good book. This one definitely fit the bill!

 *Summary*

Katherine Parker is on the cusp of having everything she ever wanted--fame, money, and acclaim. So why isn't she happy? In search of answers, she comes incognito to Hope Harbor on the Oregon coast for some R&R. Maybe in her secluded rental house overlooking the serene Pacific she'll be able to calm the storm inside.

Coffee shop owner Zach Garrett has found his niche after a traumatic loss--and he has no plans to change the life he's created. Nor does he want to get involved with his reticent new neighbor, whose past is shrouded in mystery. He's had enough drama to last a lifetime. But when Katherine and Zach are recruited to help rehab a home for foster children, sparks fly. And as their lives begin to intersect, might they find more common ground than they expected . . . and discover that, with love, all things are possible?

Bestselling and award-winning author Irene Hannon invites you to come home to Hope Harbor--where hearts heal . . . and love blooms.

 *My Thoughts*

Book 7 of the Hope Harbor series and Irene Hannon is still going strong! This series is one of those that just gets under your skin in the best way. I thoroughly enjoyed returning to the town of Hope Harbor and visiting old friends. Hannon has done a wonderful job creating not just a town, but a community. It made me smile when Floyd, Gladys, and friends reappeared and though I've never had a fish taco before, I imagine Charlie's are the best.

Katherine and Zach's relationship felt neither rushed nor forced, and I really enjoyed watching it progress. Combined with a host of wonderful supporting characters, this story will draw you in and have you planning a beachside trip to Oregon. Faith filled, refreshing and fun, Blackberry Beach can be read as a stand alone but I suggest you don't miss out...read the whole series!
