I told you I'd be back!! With Olivia Newport's book as promised too!
*About the
Author*
I’m imagining you. You walk past as I water my front flowerbeds and we wave. You check the time as we both stand in a long line at the grocery store. You sit in front of me in church. I’m at my table in the coffee shop and you’re at yours.
We may smile politely and move on with our separate lives. Or one of us may speak, a simple invitation to conversation, and the words flow between us.
Here the adventure begins. When we meet someone new, we never know where it might lead.
I’ve been married for over thirty years and have two twenty-something kids. We live in stunning Colorado at the foot of the Rockies, where the day lilies in my back yard grow as tall as I am. (No short jokes, please.)
Not every piece of my life is pretty, though. Some days I want to throw out whole chunks. But I am living each day looking for the grace of God to me, in me, and through me. Having your companionship along the way will help uncover a lot of great stories.

Description*
Abbie Weaver loves her little community, little being an understatement. She moved her parents, siblings, and 11 other family members to their humble town but everyone is feeling the brunt of their lack of crops and they're all quickly losing hope. Well, everyone except for Abbie and unfortunately families are getting tired and leaving. Will Abbie stop them from leaving? Or will she end up leaving Colorado herself? And what about Rudy Stutzman and Willem Peters? She always thought she'd end up with Willem but...
Willem Peters sighed as he once again thought about Abbie and her opinions wondering how she was ever going to take his plans. Are they really meant to be together? Is he meant to be Amish at all?
Rudy Stutzman doesn't have a clue what the point is...Colorado, crops, anything. The only reason he stayed is because of dear Abbie's 'persuasion' if you could call it that. That and the fact that he can't get her out of his mind. Only she's with Willem...or is she? What will happen to their slowly diminishing town?
*What I liked*
Hmmm...where do I start? I loved the cover, characters, author, story line, description, town it was placed in, just about everything. Okay, seriously though, this has got to be one of the best story lines ever. Not slow or rushed at all and it's so fresh but yet historical...I can't explain it! It's in my top ten for 2014 and in my top for Amish fiction too!
*What I didn't
like*
This is one of those books where I can honestly say...I wouldn't change a thing! Not a cliff hanger but yet still has the power to make me ache for the next book!!
