Revell Review-No Place to Hide by Lynette Eason

Hey everyone!! Sorry guys. I have to warn you, I got less then an hour of sleep last night and have a headache. Plus side though, I got to read my Karen Whitemeyer freebie!! Although...I have Lynette Eason here with me!! Loooook!!

*Summary*

It's not every day you see your childhood friend and one-time crush on national news. Jackie Sellers just wishes it were under different circumstances. She can't believe that Ian Lockwood is wanted in connection with a terrorist plot, and she's determined to find him and help him clear his name. But she's not the only one looking. The FBI wants him captured. The bad guys want him dead. Ian just wants to stay alive long enough to save thousands of innocent lives.Lynette Eason throws readers right into the action from page one, propelling them along a dangerous road and asking the provocative question of how far we'd be willing to go if we were up against a wall.

*My Thoughts*

Whaaaat. Just. Happened.

I found myself saying that a LOT throughout this book. SO.MUCH.SUSPENSE!! Actually, my sister is a huge suspense fan, so much so that she picked up MY book and started reading it BEFORE I did. Guess I don't have to say how fab the cover is BUT that was unacceptable and I quickly snatched it back for my reading pleasures. Boy am I glad I did!!

I liked the characters, understood Jackie's crush-and trust- on Ian. Actually, for whatever reason, (not just the name) something reminded me of my "real life" friend Ian. They were both sweet and had their struggles but...something was missing. I think it was the lack of faith that is usually woven through the story. It didn't take away from the suspense story but probably altered my overall opinion slightly.

Lynette's writing is awesome! She gives wonderful details and I can easily picture being "in the moment". The story line was something the likes of which I'd never read and I guess that is where the real brownine points go.

Also don't let the cover fool you-this book is like a fast paced roller coaster-plenty of turns along the way.

*My overall thoughts*

No Place to Hide by Lynette Eason is a thriller novel if I've ever read one! The first ten pages had me enthralled and I loved every second! Must read if you're in need of some serious action and excitement throughout that'll keep you up like an owl!!
