*My Thoughts*
My absolute favorite part of this book was the candid way Heidi approached her book. There was no beating around the bush. No "but I meant to". No sugar coating. Just 100% honesty-not to the point of bringing herself down too hard but certainly not exalting her choices. She was completely open, not worrying about her "image" but about helping others just like Breanna. Just like her.
My second favorite part? She took action when she noticed a problem. Some people might wait a while before doing something. They might wait a while to see if the problem fixed itself. Not Heidi. Heidi did everything she could to help her little girl until she found what worked.
Okay. Enough with my favorite parts. I guess it's time to admit reality and say that I actually don't have a favorite part. Because besides all the stories that held me captive on the porch, she has a lovely addition. Recipes, meal plans, and a 40 day diet/ fitness plan to help us do the same!! I would buy it for twice the price! Perfect for any parent, not just those suffering with overweight issues!

Who's the new Kid by Heidi Bond is a story about a mom's brush with reality when it came to her daughters weight. With openness and honesty she shares her feelings, thoughts, struggles, emotions, and even includes recipes, fitness tips, and meal help!! A gold mine for kids and parents alike!
