Eek!! I LOVE books when I get more then one in a series through reviewing. Actually, I love books any time. But you get the idea.

*Summary*

She's lost her dream job--but has she found the man of her dreams?

Marisa St. George is devastated when she is a victim of downsizing and has no choice but to return to the small Texas town where she grew up. Though it's a giant step backward, she accepts a position as business manager at the struggling Rainbow's End resort. The only silver lining is Blake Kendall, a new guest who is making her believe in love at first sight. But will her dreams of happily-ever-after be turned upside down when she discovers who he really is?

*My Thoughts*

First, I'll say this. Book one was great. Book 2? Mind. Blown. I just feel like there was so much more depth to he story then the first. That's the goal right? In my mind, if I enjoyed a book and the second is better, that's a win!

My favorite part to "critique" usually is the characters. If the story is the typical "boy meets girl" fall in love story, you might get a few people hoping for a beach read but that's about it. It's amazing to me how a few sentences here and there can drastically change a personality and the readers perspective of them. Their relationship was REAL! Not fake, I just saw you and I'm in love but a steady, God given love with plenty of Amanda romance! There was a lot of conflicts and emotions that really added to the reality of the characters. You felt like you were seeing Blake Kendall jogging up a hill. You could picture Marissa ' s un-contained anger and hurt towards her father.

Her father. Now that's a character to give out hope. Amanda further brings to light that if God cares enough to help this "man" with his struggles, He can-and will- be there for anyone of his children. All we have to do is ask.Her story line is the perfect theme for second chances. Forgiveness. Grace. Without being a preachy "Church book". Awesome in every way? We haven't quite covered everything yet. We haven't even broached the cover or my reaction yet. We'll end with that:

"Be still my heart, I'm in love!"

I guess you know you live in the south when you stay be still my heart for the first time. Which brings me to my final thought. I. Love. Depree.

It's literally a fantasy town! Rainbows End, In Firefly Valley, Lonestar Trail?! It's awesome!! Amanda describes each place in vivid detail that makes  me want to do a google search and go there!
