Barbour Review- The Captive Heart by Michelle Griep

*Summary*

Proper English governess Eleanor Morgan flees to the colonies to escape the wrath of a an angry duke.                 *My Thoughts*

I was actually really suprised at how much I loved this book! The summary was pretty intriguing, so I got it figuring on a quick read to keep me busy until the book I really wanted got here.

The truth is though...it was really, really good! I'd never read anything by this author before, but I will be now!

I was super unsure about Samuel in the beginning. Something about him...gruff, surly, rough around the edges. He absolutely grew on me!

Throughout the story I was wondering what was going to happen, and sighing happily when I was pleasantly surprised. Pick this one up...you won't regret it!
